The company Proplasma Sp. z o.o. was established in 2000. It was set up as a distributor of Becton Dickinson Company’s products to blood donation and blood treatment centres in Poland. At first, the company was involved solely in distributing Vacutainer evacuated blood collection systems to the Regional Blood Donation and Blood Treatment Centres. It had subsequently expanded its range of operations to cover other health institutions as well.

As within a very short time the company won the renown of a reliable distributor, demand was observed for other products required in the blood donation sector. In 2001, Proplasma began the distribution of serologic reagents made by Serologicals, the world manufacturer, now the Millipore Corporation (USA with an office in the UK). Despite great competition, Proplasma is now the biggest supplier of reagents to Polish health centres, blood banks and Regional Blood Donation Centres.

In 2004, Proplasma expanded its offer with two more products – a full set of narcotic tests made by the Austrian company DIPROmed and the world’s first no-touch Thermofocus thermometers manufactured by Tecnimed, the renowned Italian company.

Throughout, our company has been focussing on quality. We deliver solely and exclusively products representing top quality standards verified by scores of certificates and examinations of the particular products.

To ensure top quality service, our company implemented in March 2006 the ISO 9001:2001 quality management system verified by an ISO 9001:2001 certificate and in November 2006 acquired an ISO 13485:2005 certificate for the manufacture of medical devices.
